We at Christian Business Women’s Fellowship are pleased to welcome Pam Fischer Korth as our new CBWF President. Pam comes to this position with a strong love for Jesus Christ, great passion for women and much experience with CBWF.
We are greatful to Debbie Blank for her leadership at CBWF over the past five years. "It has been a blessing to serve as the CBWF Director and to work with so many wonderful women, seeing their passion for Christ and transformation as His children," Debbie said."My spiritual gift and major life passion is teaching the Word of God to encourage people to know Christ, understand His Word and live for Him. My teaching ministry has exploded the past few years, allowing me to have expanded opportunities to teach God’s Word, to host our international radio program and local television show and to guide tours to the Holy Land. It became evident to me in early spring that I did not have the time to serve in both ministries. Our new President has used her degree in accounting to serve as a CPA with an international firm and her MBA to start her own executive recruiting business. During those years, she pursued opportunities to focus on her passion, which has been to work with professional women encouraging them towards life transformation and helping them live out their faith in the marketplace.
Pam grew up in a Christian home but would categorize herself as a “Sunday Christian” until about ten years ago when she went through the process of seeking to have a true and committed relationship with Jesus Christ.
It was a natural fit when Pam first joined CBWF in 2006 as a forum member, quickly ascending to moderator of her forum. She became the first President of the CBWF of Greater Omaha chapter, a position she has maintained until now. Last year, Pam was invited to serve as an officer on the CBMC International Board of Directors, which is CBWF’s parent organization.
Pam has extensive involvement with community organizations such as Metro Marketplace Ministries, Lutheran Family Services, American Society of Women Accountants and American Society of Certified Public Accountants. Pam and her husband, Randy Korth, Portfolio Manager at Orizon Group, are active members at Trinity International Church in Omaha. She has three step sons.
