The Ministries of CBWF
Relationships - everything revolves around relationships. We build relationships early in life with our families and friends, then with our employers and co-workers, later with our spouses and children, on-going with our employees, consistently within our churches and organizations, and always with our Lord Jesus Christ. Christian Business Women's Fellowship is all about growing in our relationships with God and others so we can be successful leaders, caring friends, and Godly examples.
While it is easy to get caught up in our businesses, Christ wants us to get caught up in people. In the Bible, Martha, the type A personality leader, "was distracted with all her preparations" while Mary took time to be with Jesus. Jesus encouraged Martha not to be worried or bother by so many things when the most important thing to do was to be with Jesus, developing relationships (Luke 10:40-42).
As we read through the gospels, we see how Jesus always focused on people, to help them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. He came along side them, met them where they were, and helped them. He reached out to rulers, religious leaders, business people, outcasts, and people from every walk of life.
Christian Business Women's Fellowship offers several ministry opportunities to develop relationships and business support. Take some time this week to pray about how you can be involved in CBWF ministries either by ministering to others or by being ministered to. Perhaps you will plant the seed that brings someone into God's kingdom.
