Bible Studies

Do You Drink the Living Water or the Tap Water?

What resource do you use as the foundation for your life and world view?  Is it your business plan, your family, your heritage, the news media, your friends, your church, the Bible?  All of the above are determining factors in how we view life, but the Bible is the only guidebook to show us how to know God and how to walk with Him.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16) which should not depart from our mouths (Joshua 1:8), in which we are to delight day and night (Psalm 1:2), which is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths (Psalm 119:105), which we should read and meditate on day and night (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).

According to a 2006 report by The Barna Group, a majority of women (74%) believe that the Bible is totally accurate in all of its teachings, but only 51% are likely to have read it in the past week.  How can we know our God and how we are to live if we do not read “the playbook?”

With the busyness of life, CBWF Bible studes provide you a user-friendly, relational way to enjoy the Word of God -- no preparation, no homework, no research -- just come willing to share your insights, observations, and questions as we unpack the Word of God together.   Group time together is devoted to three segments:

  • fellowship
  • Bible study
  • prayer

Workplace Bible studies can be Biblical book studies walking through a specific portion of the Bible or topical studies relating to women’s issues, business principles, personal integrity, family life.

Inviting your colleagues to a small group is a non-threatening, relational way to share His love and truth with them.  Newcomers are always welcome to join a group at any time.

Would you like to start a small group Bible study with your work colleagues??

We would love to visit with you about starting a Women's Bible Study either at your work site or off-site.  All you need is a group of three women (you + 2) and we've got a study growing.

If you would like to join a Bible study or help lead one in your workplace, please contact the CBWF Bible Study Coordinator, Kim Young, at kyoung@cbwf.org or the teacher.  Kim will sign you up for the study of your choice, provide direction in getting a study started, and/or help in choosing the right material.
