Luncheons and Events
CBWF Luncheons
We all take time for lunch - at least once in a while. How about using that lunch time to hear a dynamic business woman share her secrets, successes, and struggles in her quest to live for Christ in the marketplace? At the same time we can enjoy female companionship, networking, and fellowship with other business and professional women in a relaxed environment.
Christian Business Women’s Fellowship (CBWF) Luncheons feature outstanding speakers who will inspire and challenge business women toward excellence in their spiritual, personal, and professional lives. Guest speakers will share business and Christian principles interspersed with personal and business testimonies. The goal is for each woman to receive “take home value” which will change her life.
All business and professional women are invited to attend the CBWF Luncheons in Omaha. Reservations must be made in advance through email to Debbie Blank, CBWF Director, at dblank@cbwf.org or by phone at 431-0002 ext.6. The schedule for 2008 is:

CBWF Networking Luncheons
Networking Luncheons create Christ-centered networking opportunities where business and professional women can build relationships that will benefit them both personally and professionally.
The lunch schedule from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm at different locations throughout the city is designed to allow woman to network for professional needs, be encouraged by means of a devotion and spiritual discussion, and spend time in prayer with each other. Up to six women signup for a particular date and location. There is no charge for the gathering except the cost of individual meals and tip.
Regarding Networking Luncheons, Kathryn wrote, "Thank you for saying just the right words...I really felt uplifted from our fellowship." Mary told us how much she enjoyed it and then said, "It's a great new idea...a wonderful avenue for the ladies."
Women are encouraged to sign up during the quarterly CBWF meetings or to contact Brenda Banks, the CBWF Networking Coordinator, at mailto:bbanks@opendoormission.org.
Special Events
Tour to Israel and Jordan
CBWF hosted a life-changing 5 Star journey to Israel and Jordan recently that brought the Bible to life in a way only possible by walking where Jesus walked. Our new "family" came to know Jesus Christ in a new and refreshing way, to grow in our relationship with God, and to understand His Word, His land, and His people like never before. The spiritual experiences, Biblical sites, and people we met from all over the world have forever changed us. We will now see the Bible in technicolor having experienced the land and the people.
If you would like information on the Fall, 2009 Israel/Jordan tour or the 2010 trip to Italy and Oberamergau (for the Passion Play), contact Debbie Blank at dblank@cbwf.org or 402-431-0002 ext. 6.
